LAN-O-WAR needs our help

3v1LSmile over at LAN-O-WAR needs our help.  He is trying to put together a 100+ person LanParty in early February and those of us who originally sat down to plan it are coming up empty when it comes to WHERE it could be held.  Apparently, 3V1L has contacted several places we discussed using, without getting much response back from those locations. One, in particular, the HOST in Lancaster has not responded to his inquiries.  Anybody out there know anyone at the HOST who could look into getting their big EXPO area?  Any ideas on places to hold such a large gathering would be appreciated.

Contact me (NADA) with information or suggestions and I'll pass it along to 3v1L

Wow, how did I miss this thread?  I apologize!  I wasn't ignoring you...

The best bet, aside from New Horizons, would be a local college/university.

I held FITES at Shippensburg university a few years ago.  Public Schools are usually free of charge, if you promote it for "their students".

Look into HACC, PSU Harrisburg, etc.

The Farm Show complex would be awesome. I've been to a bunch of computer shows there. They have plenty of room. You could probably hold the next Quake Con there.
