BURNING LAN YORK Feb. 13-14

Sounds like they might have a gigabit network up!

Quote off their page:
"
This event is what we like to call a "come and play" event. A "come and play" event is just that - you come and play. We don't hold any official tournaments, we don't give out prizes (usually ;)). You come, bring your friends, get in for cheap, and play all night.

To be honest, we like these events quite a bit more. It gives us an opportunity to try out new things (like cool mods on the Counter-Strike servers, test any new equipment) and it gives us, the staff, a chance to hang out and play with you guys, instead of running around like chickens with our heads cut off.

This event will be held on Friday, February 13th-14th from 9:00pm-9:00am. Bring your friends! Show them how kickass we can make BurningLAN!

But I can never find for how many people. And I am disapointed we don't really see any of them for our LANs. I notice from the pics that it seems to be a younger crowd, but what keeps them away from us? Is it our cost? Our venue locations? Maybe it's that there seems to be more of a lean towards console gaming? Maybe I should just make a post over on their forums.

I'd like to check out some of their LAN's but it's hard enough for me to get time to attend our LAN's lately. Plus, I'm moving that weekend, so that one's definitely out for me.
Please just walk away. I don't want to have to stand here and say something so awesome that I'll have to remember it the rest of the day. Thank you!

Hopefully if someone from fites can make it then they can hype up the 150 while there and hopefully get some more registrations.

Are all your posts going to refer to your 'new' car?   :hehemean:

What "new car"? I have no ideas to what you are talking about. But I already did register for their event. But the thing of it is I have yet to find where the list is to all who are going. It is like you sign up but then you really can't see if you are signed up for the event.
