Smack Talk and Fragging

It has been a while since everyone has gotten together.  Time for a big Smack Talk and Frag match to get the juices going again.

What is that? Trying to add some depth to an ASCII box? Or maybe a big ASCII art "D"? 'Be there, or be D!'  Hmm I guess you could translate to be something like single dimensional. That would be pretty bad then! I'll be there on Friday out of fear of losing my other 2 dimensions!

I'll f'in be there too, hopefully for more than a round before I find something better to do. And, whatever, that shape is, would be two dimensional. And, maybe I won't leave TS open this week and freak out while im laying in bed thinking im hearing voices...

Are you talking about getting into some cod4 tonight or what?

Agent just enlightened me to the linked event for this Friday.  I should be there.  I'm on-call this weekend so i can't go anywhere,  Worst case i get a call that night.  I hope not.

I would highly rethink that statement. There will always eventually come a new MMO that will dethrone or at least offer strong competition to the current champion. It happened with EQ1. And yes, Warhammer IS good enough to dethrone WoW. It is fun beyond anything I've ever played before. FPS and MMO alike...

Ever heard the saying, "No matter how good you are, there will always be someone to come along that is better than you"? Warhammer is going to put some serious hurt on WoW.


Actually, this applies to FPS's as well. CS is the WoW of First Person Shooters. It was beastly for a long time and everyone thought it would be like that for a long ass time. That it was just too big. But the same game gets old after awhile. That is starting to happen to WoW right now. People are getting sick of doing the same basic sh!t over and over. New expansions just offer new content to do that same basic sh!t in. So yeah, I wouldn't get so sure of yourself about that.

So you are saying that Warhammer, doesn't have a repetitive grind? I find that hard to believe. Then what will it have to make people continue playing? That is the only real reason most people play MMO; is for the repetitive grind element.
