New server parts have been ordered today (Mobo, Case, Memory so far...w00t!)

Hopefully I'll have the remaining 300 bucks or so to finish the server project within the next 2 weeks. Until then, I guess we'll have to grin and bear the lag. I think I'm going to take the custom maps off the the maplist until the new server is built so we don't have the same problems as last week. I hope we can get more gents in game though. 7 was ok but I was really looking forward to 10-12 guys (we need around 10 to really stand a chance against the bots). I have some DDR400 laying around but unfortunately old betsy (aka the dell) only has 2 DIMMS so we are maxed out for ram

I'll try to be there on sat but I cant make any guarantees. We're suppose to have the turkey day on sat  with the family so I dont know how much I'll be able to get away. In anycase, I'll be sure to leave the server up for everyone who does plan on attending. It seems to be pretty rock solid now since I redid everything. Hopefully we can get Czar in this time (the guys over from global alien aka the ppl who created hard justice have been helping me out with your problem. Hopefully we can shoot a few more ideas around and get it figured out)

this weekend is mostly a toss-up... i'm heading down to VA for thanksgiving, but since i'm on-call this week, i'm not sure how long i'll stay.

I'll be there.  I am staying in town this week due to having to work on Friday.  Ugh.  How about we get some gaming in on Wednesday night too?  Anyone up for that?  How about we get some COD4 in then.  That way we aren't dependent on getting enough people in to be a threat to the bots.

I'll try and get on on Friday and Saturday.  Wednesday may be out for me until later on in the night as I am going to a Hershey Bears game for the first time (club seats too!).

Awesome! I've only been to one Bears game, but it was a most excellent experience. Our seats were right up against the glass, to the right of the visitors bench. There was a fight right in front of us against the glass and there was blood and mayhem and fists....it was spectacular I'm sure you'll have fun!

I would be up for wednesday except im gonna be in delaware until friday evening.  If i get home friday evening in time i will definitly hop online and see what you all are playing!!!  once dave gets the server finished im shutting down the paid cod4 server.  We'll run it for free of Daves box.
