Im thinking about attending the lan party the games im interested in are COD Black Ops, The whole Halo series, NBA 2k, Unreal Tournament, NHL 2k, and GOW2. Probably more but im wondering if any of these games will have a tournament and if there will be any money awarded.

Ive never been to a lan party of this magnitude but i play online just not as much as i used to.

First, welcome! Let me answer your questions here.

First, cash prizes are not given out at FITES events (typically). We do however give out highly sough after Trophies.  Past winners of such awards bring them along and proudly display them at their seat for all to marvel at.

We do have tourneys listed for Unreal Tournament III and Halo Reach.

Where abouts are ya from and how did you hear of our little shin-dig?
