hi! damn i wish i knew of this a few years ago. would've been nice...

anywho my name's cynthia. or cynth. im 20 and currently living in harrisburg- but maybe not for long. who knows, cuz i sure as hell dont.
i used to play CSS religiously after sony eff'd up SWG. my ex used to host Digital Hangover LANs few years back. i miss it all! but i've succumbed to the wc mmo =\. however i wanna get back into fps bad. i'm an addict. :help:.

Haha, welcome to FITES then! We're all about fragging people without remorse. And stuff. Glad you found us though, better late then never I guess. We're a friendly group of people and always welcome in newcomers.

Expand the playerbase!

I hear ya on the mmo part. I'm sortof flopping back n' forth between mmo and fps myself. Trying to keep a balance. Hard when you have friends on either side yanking on you to play more cod4 or eq2. But sweetness. Should come to one of our monthlies(registration on front page). They are just as much of a blast as our larger lans. Either way, enjoy your stay on the FITES forums!  :2thumbsup:

yes, yes. thank you, thank you =D i am very much looking forward to your events. i need to leave my PC for something other than work. or at least be in another location other than my room w/ it.

mmos are evil. it's been a while since i've played any fps. because mmos are evil. how loving  _office was to me...

would it be possible for me to check out an event w/out my 'gear' for a first visit? just to hang out and see what goes down. i'm not in a hurry to embarass myself just yet.  :flex:

Pride is the primary founder of FITES. We like to give him sh!t, and if anything happens, we blame him for everything. Or we blame tibs. But that's something totally different :P

As for coming to a LAN without gear, I don't really a see an issue with that, but I'll have cuzznkev answer that one anyways. Since he's the one hosting the monthly lans.

As for being embarrassed at a LAN.  It can and usually does happen.  But it is all done in fun.  If you have enjoyed LANs in the past and don't have a big problem learning new games just plan to come to the LAN anyway.  If you show up without your gear you will be so upset cause you will want to sit down and play.  I think every LAN I have been to I have met someone new and every person has said they have had a great time.  Hope to see you at the next one and welcome to FITES.

Apparently you didn't notice the gallery link on the front page Cynthx.  There is a camera at every event and there are always good pics.  Do hope to see you and frag you at the LAN.
