Ohhhhh man. DOD is the shizzzznit.
Good memories.
My girlfriend and I played a 1000 games of DoD with Sturmbots. (Pretty cool to have a girlfriend that likes FPS games <g>). The CR44 map was our favorite (a bridge in the middle with a river going underneath as an alternative route). Ufortunately, she never liked playing online or at LAN parties. She was also a fanatic for Tomb Raider (original) UT, Diablo, Baldur's Gate and Medal of Honor.
Personally, senseless run-and-gun action doesn't have the appeal it used to. I thirst for a thoughtful game with meat to it and lots of player interaction and interdependencies beyond the simple gunner/medic relationship e.g. It should take three+ people to fly a large battleship.
