just looking to see if there is any interest in playing dota 2 @ the upcoming LAN. if we have enough people we could play some inhouses, if not we could just queue pubs together.

Not for the LAN but plenty of the XIRP folks play too.

I'd say in the experience area I'm slightly above average - I've been playing for about 3 years, and have around 1300 or so matches logged (I played HoN for a small time period before dota 2 came out - I was actually one of the first 500 people invited to the beta). However, my main thing in the game is having fun - I'm down for competitive/serious games/inhouses, but have just as much fun playing pubs with players of all skill levels.

Just because we don't have a tournament doesn't mean there won't be any DOTA 2 action happening. We only have a finite amount of time to dedicate to tournaments so some games have to be left out. If there's enough interest, however, we would definitely be willing to add it for the February LAN. Otherwise, there's ample opportunity to play with any DOTA2 players at the LAN. Heck, we can even throw up a bracket on the tourneys page if you want to run a little side action yourself, there just wouldn't be the oh-so-sweet trophies from FrozenQ that everyone lusts for so strongly

Maybe FITES should have some DOTA2 time on the schedule
