For three days this guy lived in a Wal-Mart no joke.

I thought it was a neat idea.  I just had hoped that he would have been confronted by someone instead of him leaving in fear.  It would have been neat to hear about them kicking him out for being in the store and spending money.

It would have been different had it been well planned, and gotten approval from upper management first.  Instead, it sounds like something he just "whipped" up.  He also didn't do much analysis, which leads me to believe that it was just kid who had nothing better to do.

Yeah but getting upper level management approval would mean people would know what he was doing and would be looking out for him.  I agree he didn't plan it well and he ran at the first sign of trouble but it was a neat idea and one that I hope is repeated again in a better way.  Would be interesting to see how long someone would be able to hold out in a Wal-mart.
