Title: Cool Pictures
Post by: {ShadowWX} on May 06, 2009, 04:40:53 PM: well I figured since we had a funny videos and a funny pictures thread, and there's only a cool videos thread I'd start a cool pictures thread. this can be anything from something awesome you just bought or did to something that you found either on the internet or just in the outside world. funny pics are meant to give you a laugh, where as cool pics are meant to make you go "wow that's freekin' sweet!"

Post by: sully! on May 07, 2009, 10:37:20 AM: That shot of Mt. Fuji features what's called a lenticular cloud and seem to often happen over mountains, though I believe they can occur in the open sky as well.

Edit: Yes, they can form in the open sky, no mountain needed

These images were made completely from gradients in Adobe Illustrator. These are NOT 3D models. 100% vector art. Fudgeing incredible.
