Re-live your childhood and gaming roots by playing all your favorite NES games right in your browser!
-
Now I have something to play when I don't have my emulators! Nice find!
-
Well if this exists then I guess there is no point in torrenting roms then.
-
torrents...those things are illegal I think
-
Only illegal if you don't own the software allready.

Sure there is, that site doesn't have ALL the roms. Besides, I think before long there will be a legal issue with that site and Nintendo. So I'd suggest getting a program to retrieve the SWF files and save to yer drive(s).
EDIT: Actually they are Java Apps, so I dunno what I'd do with those.

woot! <3

Anyone else not able to get these to run? I installed the Java stuff when prompted and the box where the game is supposed to show up is just gray except for a red 'X' in the upper left corner.
-
They run fine for me.

Which games did you try to run? I'm getting errors in the Java console. Anyone know what the problem might be? I reinstalled Java (directly from the Sun website) but that just gave me a newer version and I still got the error.:

Super Mario Bros, Contra, Lode Runner, and Tetris.

The only thing I know about Java is that it's better hot than cold....wait, wrong java.

I'm seeing that right now. It looks like the site is having issues. It's probably been making it's way around all the social news sites. I found it on Digg, which probably means it also hit Del.icio.us, Fark, StumbleUpon, Redditt, Slashdot, etc. Not many sites can withstand that amount of traffic. Wait a little while and try again.

So.. did ya follow the link there to the vNES page that made this all possible? Turns out they're being accused of violating copyright for having these games...and they're asked that people send them their old NES carts so they can show they have an original copy of the game.
-
See! I knew this was going to happen! EMU anyone? If you want 'em, I got 'em.
-
I must say that although I can't necessarily paly these games at work, they provide a nice soundtrack.
Currently A Boy & His Blob is playing.
