I currently have a pci-e x700pro 256mb ddr, will this be a worthwhile upgrade?

My friend uses 2x6800's and he get's max frames on quake4 multi. Alot of people I know says they are good. I think they are worth the $90.

I was looking @ the ATI X800 GTO's as well, the weak link in my system is the video card now.
