The LAN Box
« on: February 12, 2014, 06:57:16 PM »
Welp, my LAN Box for the 250 is all done.

Pics: http://imgur.com/a/TJ26y

Specs:

Intel Core i5 4670k
Gigabyte GA-Z79N-Wifi (rev 2.0)
EVGA GTX770
8GB (2x4) Corsair DDR3-1600
Intel 240GB 530-series SSD
Silverstone Strider Gold ST55F-G (550w low profile fully modular PSU)
Corsair H60 with dual SP120 fans in push/pull config
Fractal Design Node 304 case (THANKS PETCH!)

I'm really impressed with this machine.  I wish there was 1 more fan header on the motherboard - I've got the fans on the radiator pretty much full speed and this little bastard drowns out my full side desktop system easily.

With the push/pull on the H60 the 4670k still runs hot - idles around 30c and gets up to 60-70c under an hour our two of prime95.

About to 3DMark it with the GPU.  Here's 3DMark with just the integrated: http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/2436324

I'll post the new results in a bit.
