... for about 60$. It was used, but in good condition. So I decided to install a modchip... should be simple. Well anyhow, while I was soldering it in, I somehow (I still have no idea how) managed to remove a little trace wire that connects from one of the pins to the graphics chips. The trace is only about an inch long, so I tried installing a wire to connect the points... no luck there. I verified that was what was wrong with it due to the flashing LED codes. So here's my question. Is anyone good with electronics and could fix this for a reasonable price, or does anyone want to buy it for like 30-40$ and fix this little wire themselves? I guarantee that this is all that's wrong with it.
Edit: Also, a little solder-cleaning-up would be needed as I pretty much got angry when it didn't work. (aka I soldered with my eyes closed because I was sad)

Sounds like it was the D0 that got messed up. If the etching is damaged it doesn't take TOO much to fix. You just have to be gentle..... Since you have soldered it to the end of the etch on top if you find the d0 on the bottom you can link it back with a wire from the under side. D0 goes THROUGH the board.

I managed get a picture to show what trace was removed. (http://www.1337st.com/images/myworstmistake.png ) Originally i was getting the three reboots followed by the orange/red flashing. I attempted to repair the trace using circut writer, a kind of conductive ink. I am no longer getting that error, i am now getting three reboots and a flashing red/green error. This guy actually allows people to sell broken x-box's (http://www.llamma.com/xbox/). I could get 35 dollars for the working parts i have now and then buy another xbox for 60$, so it would only cost me another 25$. Worth keep trying to fix or sell it?
