So I'm seconds away from ordering some new compy parts. This new mobo has SATA II connectors but I`ll be using an SATA drive.

Will the drive work?

Actually, I thought they were backwards compatible but i just googled it and saw there were some poeple having issues with the cables not connecting properly. They usually had a really easy workaround that required some Mcguyver type fix. AKA tape.

Update for those that may have the same question. Everything plugged in just fine without any issues at all.
