I need a small box
« on: June 08, 2014, 09:46:48 AM »
So with summer (and stupid A/C expenses) approaching, I want to build a super small, as-low-power-as-possible box for just general day-to-day use and I'd like you guys to help me build it. I upgraded my gtx460 to a 770 and when july hits it's going to warm up the bedroom pretty fast and I want to do anything I can to alleviate that.

That's build as in advise unless you feel overwhelmingly giving, in which case I won't stop you.  8)

All this box needs to be capable of is smooth 1080p (mid to high bitrate) video playback, steam streaming and maybe, MAYBE capable local gaming at medium settings (like bf4 medium) so that way I can pack it up in a hurry if I want to game at a friend's house for a day should the opportunity arise.

So.... I need options. Can you help me out?

See-zar FTW.

Anyone have any experience with those AMD A-series chips?
