Damn everything went smooth except trying to figure out how those pesky wires hookup to the 120mm fan.  But im hoping to get at least 3gig outa my q6600.  if i can, im shooting for 3.2gig but i'll be happy with 3gig.

you should be able to do 3 with that beast. I know some guys are doing close to 3.2 with the Zalman 9500.

my load temps at 2.4gig(stock) are around 45 for all 4 cores and never over 47c.  as long as i can keep the temps below 60c with no errors on prime 95 then im doing it...3.2gig.  we'll see

well 3gig is solid so far i ran prime95 for 9 hours and no errors and my temps stayed below 55c and towards the end the were actually around 49c-50c.  Im currently rethinking my decision to go for 3.2gig only because there's not a huge performance gain at that point and i really don't wanna screw with the voltages in the cpu.
