Post by: Krurath108 on November 19, 2006, 01:58:09 PM
I'm shopping for a decent mouse thats not too expensive. I never got a chance to feel some of the mice so I need feedback on whats good.

I also want to get better surface for my mouse

what do you recommend?

I got a G5 a while ago.  Best mouse I have ever had.  I don't even use a mouse pad.  I just use my table and it never misses a beat.

I have the g5..picked it over the razor and i'm so glad i did...It's molded to cradle or hand and is really comfortable for long term gaming. Response is there and the on the fly dpi adjustment is easy and great for sniping...Def my pick of the best mouse 2 buy

Now im debating weather to get the G5 or the MX518.

The MX518 is a lil cheaper and very similar looking compared to the G5 but no weights.

Thank you all for your input.

I have a g5 now.  The only things I do not like about it is that there is no foward button and the material feels kinda funny.

I had the MX1000 for a couple of weeks. Hated it. The only reason I did was because it was too heavy. It's all about personal tastes though and I like a light mouse for better accuracy in FPS.

And I like a heavy brick to move around when I play FPS. I guess it's cause of all my buldging muscles!

As far as mouse surface goes, func makes good stuff.  I have a func pad that I won at the second 100 man, and it is sweet.
