Haha...I love it!

I counted 50 of the 65 that applied to me in some way. Some of the stuff only applied to girls anyway, so when you take that into conderation I'm about 95% 80's.

Totally radical man!

To add another to that list, if you've ever had a rat-tail or stripes/pattern shaved into the side of your head. I had both at the same time when I was 9 :)
Please just walk away. I don't want to have to stand here and say something so awesome that I'll have to remember it the rest of the day. Thank you!

O M F G !

Ok, 1st of all, Fraggle Rock and the Popples were the coolest things EVER ! 2ndly, I remember the day they announced on the radio some girl got hurt really bad from slap bracelets and they were going to stop selling them. I hid mine so my mom wouldn't take them away. Jelly shoes were the coolest things EVER invented, the end.

I have to say that I was your typical 80s girl. I can related to ALL of those. How extremely sad.

Couple things they missed: Crimping your hair. Big plastic eye glasses. 2 different colored socks.  The Wuzzles ! Cabbage Patch Kids. Pound kitties. The dolls that now "wet themselves" when you "fed" them water. SCRUNCHIES ! Tube tops. G.I. Joes. Back to the Future anyone ? =P

It's funny how a lot of this stuff is coming back. Jean jackets being the ones that caught my eye most recently. A lot of the cartoons are starting to come back, which honestly, is a good thing. Our cartoons were far superb to the crap they play now.

although i only took part in the 80's for two years, at least half of the stuff on that list i can relate to.  Mostly from my kindergarten and elementary days.
As soon as i read the parachute pants one, i busted out MC Hammer.

And i do think that bill and ted's excellent adventure is one of the best movies ever.  "It seems to me the only thing you've learned is that Caesar is a "salad dressing dude." "

you know i hate to say it but the better half of those apply to me and i was only born in 88 so it's still quite funny...it reminds me of how crappy society has been getting in the last 10 or 15 years.  They dont even show the good cartoons on saturday anymore...it sucks

47 for me.

Giant floppy disks.  And I don't mean the 5.25 inch ones, I mean the eight inch ones.

Using audio tapes as computer data storage media.

Mohawks.

Leg warmers.

Teachers in the public school system lost their right to paddle students. (whew!)

"Avoid the Noid"

Clam diggers with all kinds of funky colors on them were "in" for a year in the eighties.

MTV started up.  "Video Killed the Radio Star", "Thriller", "I Want My MTV", and Cyndi Lauper was hot. (still is for me!)

The first cable TV remote was not wireless and had a gigantic dial on it.

Muppet movies.

Yeah, I'm thirty.

I lost track of how many of those applied to me.  I was pretty young when the 80's ended, so I didn't think much of that would apply to me, but I started recounting half of those shows and songs in excruciating detail...just ask Sully.

A few to add to the list.  You can name all the Cosby kids, all the people that made Full House so full, and you've said, in a nasal voice, "Did I do that?".

You had a collection of troll dolls w/ various neon shades of hair.

You think the line on the original list that mentioned tight rolling jeans should've said pinch rolling.

Keeping Mario alive, whether jumping over barrels or squashing little mushroom guys, was one of your main objectives in life.
