I've been to this event several times and am planning on going with my son again this year. Would anyone else be interested in going?
http://www.maam.org/maamwwii.htmlThis event differs greatly from other "air shows" in that it has a massive amount of ground features. 200 vehicles, reenactments, some dude with a WWII flame thrower he uses, tons of camps set up just like you'd see in the war that you can walk through with reenactors that actually know their Crap and are happy to tell you about the stuff. Tons of genuine gear, weapons, and tools used in the era.
Check the link here for pics:

If you stay in to the evening, they bust out the AA search light.

For those interested, the museum hosting the show is restoring a P-61 Black Widow which when done, will be the only flyable one in the world. It's on display in it's current state at the event:
http://www.maam.org/p61.html$23 for an adult ticket for 1 day (planes only fly on saturday). Parking is free and they have shuttle service.
Anyone interested?
