Who said trackmania?  Did I miss something?  That game is really fun.  Not realistic at all, but crazy addicting.

Trackmania rocks...Though if you want realism go dl the Grid demo. Thats as realistic as it gets when it comes to racing games

Some games can be too realistic and then they lose the appeal of being a game.  I want to drive 200 mph around a course doing power slides and banging off the wall and still winning the race.
Never, but never question the engineers judgement.

My Favorite NFS game was actually Carbon.  The free roam mode and the actual races themselves I really enjoyed.  I tried Pro-Street but lost interest in it real quick.

I will give props to Colin Macrae Rally 05 (I think that was the version I had on the 3D glasses at the last 150) as that is a realistic racing game but still has enough fun to keep you coming back.

Carbon was nice, especially with the new cars added and the 3 person racing group. However it was soooo short that I was really disappointed when I spent 50 bucks on it when it came out. I'd have to say Most Wanted was my favorite NFS game to date. Pro Street really sucked IMO vs Most Wanted and Carbon

1) Most Wanted

2) Carbon

3) Underground 2

That must be the PC demo only then, the 360 demo was not realistic at all.
