What happens if the event reaches 100 people prepaid. Does that mean all of the people who plan on coming to the lan and paying are screweed?

I was just wondering about some friends of mine...

Yup

The only people guaranteed a seat are the people who prepay. Then it is first come first serve at the door. If there are no available seats the day of the event, everyone who shows expecting to pay will have to be turned away.

quick question

what would be the harm in adding a few more seats?

and in the past is there ever a time when all seats were full and everyone showed up?

what are the posibilites of someone not showing(is it likeley to happen based on your experience)

1. We simply do not have enough room to add more seating

2. We have never filled up before, this is the first time we hit 100

3. Undoubtably someone will not show... however, the way we work is, if you buy a seat, it is yours no matter what! We only have 100 seats to sell... no more than that.

Do ppl call in ahead if they're not coming? or do they just not show up (i know thats a hard question to answer, sorry to ask so many questions, just trying to help a friend that i would like to go)

people are not required, nor can we force them to call in.

usually they just dont show up... something changes the day of or the day before....

One of the seats I paid for may end up being vacant since the person who it is for now can not make it. I have been trying to fill it by contacting some of my gaming friends, but so far none of them can make it. I have one friend I am waiting to hear back from, but if he can't make it and if you willing to reimburse me for the seat then I can let you have it. I should know this evening if he can make it or not.

Turns out I do have a free seat after all. If anyone wants it, contact me to arrange payment. Otherwise I am taking up 2 spaces. :snicker:
