Title: Wireless at the Holiday Inn

Does the Holiday Inn for the 100 Man Lan offer wireless internet access? and if so, is it free?

Just wondering if its worth while for me to bring my USB adapter incase anyone needs emergency downloads of some needed file to ensure they have a fragful weekend.

Yes, the HI does have wireless internet.  We will be providing limited access to online resources, for Steam use as well as updates that may be necessary.

So are we following the instructions in http://fites.net/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=1193 for steam usage offline or are we utilizing the wireless?

Best idea is to set it for offline mode, and use wireless as a backup.

Since the internet is out of our hands for this event... we cannot guarantee its availability.

Plus we will have an apache based patch server onsite with as many patches, drivers, maps, mods, mutators, and other necessary downloads to guarantee everyone a "fragful" weekend.
