Anyways, I decided to actually wait outside Wally World for a chance at one. I got there around 9:30pm and found out they had 28 available so my chances looked good! There was probably around 35 people ahead of me but not every single person was going to buy one (especially since there were kids as well). Well, two managers came out and told us what was going to happen. A few minutes before 12 they would hand out 28 tickets. You can only purchase one per person. One person cannot use someone else's credit card or checkbook. With credit/debit cards you get two chances to swipe. If it doesn't go through the next person in line gets the Wii.

They told us this around 10:50-11:00pm. What happens? Some of the parents send their kids in to get cash or gift cards!! :cussing:
I ended up being #31 out of people who were actually buying. They should have had a rule of 1 per household.

I hate people.

Post by: llDayo on November 20, 2006, 12:51:23 PM: BTW, if you actually got one, what are your thoughts? I've seen nothing but positive feedback on the internet aside from a few disc read errors (which might be attributed to people putting the disc in upside down. RTFM!).

Crutchfield... you missed their black friday sale where they had it for $899 with free shipping and 50% off a wall mount. You can find it other places for less than a grand now though if you are interested :)

This thing makes a seriously kick ass monitor. If you can afford it, I recommend serious consideration of it. Its got 6 HD class inputs and multiple Picture-in-Picture modes so you can do crazy Crap with it like hook up a laptop and run it in a smaller window in the corner of the monitor. One HDMI, two DVI (HDMI and DVI inputs all support HDCP so you can use a converter connector/cable to get 3 usable HDMI ports or 3 DVI ports), one VGA, two component ins, one composite and one Svideo in. Its crazy.
