Well I got my Wii a week ago and I was curious if anyone had any good suggestions for games that I could get for it.

I would suggest titles from the Gamecube era. I don't know of too many on the Wii. Although the new Super Mario Bros. That was showed off at E3 looks to be pretty fun. But that doesn't come out till the fall.

Mario Cart Wii
Wario Ware
Boom Blox (for some reason this is somewhat hard to find at least in my experience)
Super Smash Bros. Brawl (Or whatever the wii iteration is)

Singleplayer games
Super mario Galaxy
Metroid
Zelda
(pretty much any classic remake)

I will check out the party games you listed Decepticon.  I think that is what I am more interested in getting.  Must say though I have been having a lot of fun with it.

Yeah, Wario Ware is very fun!  You have to do silly 'poses' and play a lot of mini games.
