Title: Who? Wha? Where?
Post by: Agent4054 on March 28, 2006, 12:50:05 AM
ahhh i totally forgot about FITES these past 4-5 days. in fact i think i actually forgot about the internet in that span of time... i might even go out on a limb and say i even forgot about reality. I've been playing TES4: Oblivion since it came out. Like, nonstop. I have 73 hours logged in it.

It's way way immersive. Compelling non-linear storyline, amaaazing graphics. My 6800gt is brought to its knees =( parallax mapping, incredible view distances coupled with yummy HDR; it makes me(or my computer) want to cry.

I'll be back on fites in a couple weeks. 73 hours clocked in and i've only scratched the surface of this massively complex game. 16 sq. miles!

I just started playing Oblivion and stopped as soon as I got out of the sewers.  The stoppage was not due to my wanting to or getting bored.  It was an obvious stopping point that I feared were far and few inbetween.  Thus far, such an awesome game.  Being able to sneak up on creatures and blast them with a fireball was really cool.  Basically all the goodness of a FPS but with RPG elements such as leveling up, finding stuff to equip your character, talking to NPCs, etc.  Very very cool game...

Anyone know if this has any form of multiplayer like diablo II does?
