Vancouver isn't lost, just sidetracked. Here's the plan:
I'm on a waitlist for my nursing program. I've been on it for a year now. I only have 1 more quarter of pre-reqs in order to reapply and find out my start date for the rest of my nursing college schooling. Until then, I won't need to take any classes per se. So, while I'm waiting (which will be probly a year), I'm going to move w/ my friend in Seattle until my start date comes up. Then I'll come back and finish school. It's easier this way rather than having to get on another waitlist and possibly have to take classes over again. (Not to mention keeping my in-state tuition.) My friend there is going to let me live rent free for awhile, so I'm going to go up there and work as a CNA making a lot more money to pay off my bills. When I'm done w/ my schooling and get my nursing degree, then I'm moving to Canada. It's too hard to get into another country w/o having any real "skills." This will make things easier, and Seattle is only 2 hours away from Vancouver so I can go up there anytime I want.
