Verdict: Both!
It's a good move for the Terminator franchise and leaves one last part of the story open to be made into a movie. CB also uses his "spooky" Batman voice a couple times. Eh.
The movie has plenty of funny moments, but funny in the vein that works out in a sci-fi action flick. It also has more than a few nods to the old movies in the way some scenes work out. Plenty of robot action, too.
All in all, it seems to move a little fast at times, but there was a lot to pack in. There wasn't much character development save for Marcus and even that was a little rushed. Effects are WOWZA, simply put.
I think it was worth full admission price and in my humble opinion, very few movies are worth that these days.
