What are your jobs in real life, if you don't mind my asking? Curiosity, that's all.
I'm a computer engineer...Damien_SLi and I both work at the same company. Our entire lives basically revolve around computers.
I repair, maintain, upgrade, and dispose of people's PCs, and I quote and build custom PCs at more than competitive prices compared to vendors like Dell, HP, Toshiba, etc. Of course, you already knows my secret online vendors like newegg rofl.
-
What's a job?
My life revolves around computers, but in a completely non-financial way.
-
Right now I am a full time student at Temple University.
oh yeah, I am also a part time student worker for the computer services help desk.
-
I do nothing. Ever.
-
I am a computer systems technician for a metal company near Penn State University. I fix computers, build computers, hand hold users, reset monitors, replace monitors, and do some hardware work with our HP mainframe and data collection systems.
-
I work for a small tech company nobody ever heard of, they make this programming thing, I think its called coffee or something. On the side I do consulting/coding and build custom rigs from time to time.
I am also cuzzkevs personal concubine.
-
You know it dawg...back in your cage.
I am a civil / environmental engineer. I look at things and write reports. It is the SUXOR, but its easy and I get paid handsomely...so no complaints. I am also a building maintenance guy at a Crapty daycare...eerrrr...nice daycare in York
-
i blow bubbles in the park....oh and fix peoples errors.
-
I work for an IT Consulting firm as a Systems Admin dedicated to an enterprise scale account.
-
To quote most people here.
I do all kids of things with computers. And look how important my job is!
LOL
-
I surf the net.
-
I do all kids of things...
Oh really?
-
Heh...I like the scrubs tib-bit (assuming thats where you got the whole...What Wouldja Say You Do Here - Classic Cox)
I currently work for a small PC shop doing repair and custom builds for the town folks . Sorta looking for something else (job wise) but it's where I've been placed for now. No complaints as it's been a fun learning experience (referring to my recent encounter of a HP Visualization Workstation...crazy glad that didn't become standard..One good thing Bill Gates did right by not basing Windows on RISC processors..Except for NT support I think)
-
I actually am the PC/Network Technician for East Pennsboro Area School District. Fun sometimes, and not so fun at other times. Great benefits though!

I am an IT Analyst for Comcast, providing all manners of internal IT support/administration/scripting/etc for the Central PA Region.

-
I can do nothing but rofl at this pic, since it looks like everyone got out ok, given the damage to the vehicle.
-
I am glad that Czar can make humor from such an accident.
-
Ha. Oh there's humor in every call. Take this one for example:
This was taken after a messy call where the patient was critical and needed to be flown out via a chopper..but look...there's poop on the sheet! Poop is funny when its found where it shouldn't be! ha!
-
I try to stare through fish-eye lenses from the outside of all my neighbor's doors while talking about myself to myself in the third person. Then I go back inside and take a shower and manage to leave hair clogs on the ceiling of the bathroom.
Now I have a cat...
-
Wow... although i agree with you about the poop I could never do that job because of my weak stomach to seeing people mangled up. And i give credit to people in your field for helping others in difficult times.
-
I am a manager and business analyst at a financial firm in MD. I help run our automated phone systems for our retirement plan services division.
