I normally use safari though (mac) and for that I just have safariblock (like adblock) And I just use ff for dev work, and stuff that needs it

All I know is that opera takes up less system resources. beyond that, the two programs are similar.

I could give a crap about an insignificant number difference, i use Mozilla because its more popular and open source a powerful combination.

P.S.

get All-in-One Gestures... its the only thing that default opera has on FireFox... it will change the way you browse.
