I'm a big BF player and I liked the way we did the room vs room tournement in bf1942.  that was a blast.  BF2 was great as well and we had a lot of really close games.

eh w/e.... srry i couldnt make it.... to make a long story short... i called off work, boss said ok, he called sat morn saying i had to go in because the other person called off sick... i went in at 4 and he said i could leave because he found some one to work  :cussing:  ... i called him a dick, and quit

I gotta agree w/ VonDouche, the ice water was the most fun I had there :p  Most invigorating too :p .  Of course the bawls chugging and duct tape were fun too...except when the duct tape was on me... :p .  I got there late and didn't have BF2 on my comp, so i didn't game too much, but to paraphrase Pride, just the LAN atmosphere and the socialization is fun, don't always need to game.

The lan was fun, probilly the best was the BF2 play room V room (We got served?!) In the end, the food was great, but everyone flippin pasted out @ 1. Sorta fruestrating that a bunch of guys ended up bailing or sleeping. I mean, everyone slept till like 9:00? I'm proud to say that I was the only one who stayed up the entire night gaming. Even if it was unreal 2k4 ctf against a bunch of bots.

People gotta stay the entire time and not bail out one. Just fruestrating thats all.

Being one of those, I do have to say that we were up until about 2 or 3 the previous night getting setup for the event.  I personally had been up since 4:30 am on friday prior to setting up.  I can understand teh 8 or 10 people who did setup trying to get some shut eye.

As for others, its personal choice.  We provide the safe haven, power, parking, etc and how others choose to use it is up to them.

Yes, I know i stayed until there were like 4 people playing and I would have stayed longer but i had to take 2 people home and one was bugging me to go.  

I was playing a 32person bf2 map with one other person having a blast just doing the helicopter duel with them.
