In the overall scheme of things, was BFV a flop?

In my opinion... YES!

I think it lost its fun factor unless you LOVE being a foot soldier.  The maps were too small, graphically intense, and the jungle was poorly done.

Overall, yes. I am even more put off by the new patch and the fact that it runs no smoother since i put in my 6800. Its like i never put in a new grfx card. Its still choppy as hell and the texture quality still looks muddy.

So yeah.. in the grand scheme of things, bfv was pretty much a failure. I do still enjoy playing it every now and then, but nothing compared to the original.

though it wasnt as good as the first, i still think it has a good thing, i enjoy the gameplay and the whole nam concept... its just neat

One phrase to describe BFV goodness. Helicopter duels. Overall I enjoy BFV, the variety of weapons is phenominal, and BFV actually runs better on my machine than 1942 does.

i thought it had some good aspects but was overuled by many bad aspects, as pride said the maps are too small, and with jets it makes it difficult constantly manuevering back into combat, although the helicopters are ALOT easier to control in bfv than they are in the bf42 and DC.

I'm not a huge BF fan to begin w/, don't really like the slow pace, but I'd have to say I prefer BFV to '42.  Not sure why, just like some of the features more I guess, and i don't suck as bad in a hellicopter :p .
