WILL BE FOR FREEEEEEEE?!?!?!?!?!
http://www.gamespot.com/articles/new-unreal-tournament-in-development-and-it-ll-be-absolutely-free/1100-6419511/ (http://www.gamespot.com/articles/new-unreal-tournament-in-development-and-it-ll-be-absolutely-free/1100-6419511/)
That's right it will be completely free...and not free 2 play: "...the Unreal Engine 4-powered game will be entirely free when it's released. Not free-to-play, completely free, Epic Games said. A "small core team" is currently working on the game, which is coming to Windows, Linux, and Mac."
This was apparently announced in May but I haven't heard about it being free until today.
Can....not...wait!

Can totally imagine you hitting the refresh button for this like soundwave is hitting that red button.

If this is out in time for the LAN... I will be so happy.

Its very refreshing to see devs actually playing their game and saying "we need this, we need that". What a concept *cough* DICE.

Kinda glad Cliffy B is out of the picture. While I always enjoyed UT no matter the edition, things kind of went to crap the instant he started getting money from microsoft.

I really hope that UT4 isn't as clunky and slow as UT3. I hope for something closer to UT2K4 where the movement was a lot faster. I literally felt like a Boomer from L4D2 trying to strafe jump around in UT3 -_- Give me my wings so that I can flyyyyyyyy :) If not, I'm sure I'll just adjust. Either way, really hoping for a solid game with LAN SUPPORT out of the box.
Speaking of LAN support, it seems like a couple other twitch games are on the horizon that look like they will have launch day LAN support. The dream's not dead yet folks :)
Toxikk - http://toxikk.com/ (http://toxikk.com/) (Closed beta will be Q4 this year apparently, game is only 15 bucks but there are multiple packages available on their site. Seems interesting.)
ReflexFPS - http://reflexfps.net/ (http://reflexfps.net/) (THANK you Twins for making me aware of this one...really pumped for this one especially)
