So I was thinking I'd like to put all the passwords for all my stuff on an encrypted thumbdrive and I was going to use truecrypt for the job, but I remembered that it got discontinued.

Do any of you have any worthwhile alternatives that you would recommend?

I'll +1 on the keepass.

If you want the old version of truecrypt before the questionable update and pulling I do have it for all OSes. (7.1a)

I use LastPass personally, but I know KeePass is good too. I like that LastPass gives me access to my stuff no matter where I am and/or what device I'm using. Doesn't KeePass *have* to store the blob with all your keys locally, i.e., if you don't have that thumbdrive with you then you don't have access to your stuff?

As for TrueCrypt....yes it can still be safely used.

Disheartening, yes, but I'm not too concerned. I use a very strong (not used anywhere else) master password, I've always had 2-factor authentication turned on, have the number of rounds of PBKDF2 cranked way up, and I limit login to my account from only US based IP's. Yes, I'll change my master password, but I'm not overly worried.

Alright, I'll check 'em out and see what works best for me.
