Load Time Ok
Max Video Settings for my rig - 1024x768 HIGH Level of Detail

I am having a major problem with sound though. Music and effects are fine, but voice over (tutorial speech) is choppy. Tried all settings, Software, Hardware, with EAX etc.

Ok...

Figured it out...

Apparently my card only does SOFTWARE EAX, not HARDWARE EAX... so I had to select Software. (I hve a new card on order to relieve this)

As for Video... I think I got it maxed out for my card.

1280x960 Everything on High except shadows (med) and AA (off)

some people were not able to run ti at the lan. we found out it requires a dx9 native card. so the peeps running a ti4600 and stuff were sol. you guys should upgrade anyways tho :P

The only problem I had was killing people as infantry. My screen would show me unloading 15 bullets into someone with a bunch of headshots before they would actually die! Sometimes they'd still be alive?! I was playing on a NYC located server and my ping was around 60-70 consistently so it shouldn't have been lag. However, I've grown a love for flying again! I may have to buy a new joystick as the one I have is not very good for flying choppers (it's impossible for me to hover but I don't know anything about YAW controls and such that you can adjust in game). I'm also not sure how useful jets are as of yet. It seemed like I got one bomb with about 16 missiles (of which can't kill a helicopter on one hit!!) but I had no idea where that bomb is hitting. When I switch to front chase view I see no explosion, only the occasional kill.

The vehicles were VERY fun to use though! I almost got to the enemy carrier in that water transport thing before someone on the carrier finally spotted me. I took the SW flag by myself in a tank, surviving the initial assault and two spawns before finally being killed by an engineer who killed himself. That left that flag open letting me respawn nearby and grabbing it

P.S. - sniping sucks, since when does a headshot on someone SITTING STILL not kill them ?!

hmm very odd lldayo. i seem to be getting alot of 1 shot kills while sniping and even more sometimes just using the normal guns so i guess its the opposite for me.

btw, i dont know why but the occasional controls lag is gone for some reason. its super smooth now. *shrug*

mine just refuses to install, man i hate dialup, took me 3 days to d-load and it still didnt work :(

Just got it working (with xp64 I might add) and I must say it is sweet!

We should do a fites server/game night sometime soon!

i video card came yesterday, so i finally got to check it out. It is pretty freakin sweet. I love the way the vehicles feel and handle. The choppers take some getting used to, and the plane are pretty tought. very awsome

the plane seemed easier than the chopper, I used (default controls) wasd for acceleration and the arrow keys (also default) steer the thing.
