I think they should have HL3 done by now instead these other games. Seriously, Half Life is their flagship title and how long have we been waiting to see how Alex honors her father?

I'm at the point where I think I need to go back and play HL2 plus the two episodes just to remind me what's going on. It's seriously been that long that I can't remember some of the finer points of the story and the story of HL2 is genuinely moving and really immerses you in the Half-Life universe.

Do it. And take it from me, install the FakeFactory cinematic mod. Do what you will the character models (I kind of like them and I think the model for Alex is HOOOOOOTTTTTTTT. I might have to find the real life girl who the game model is based off of and keep her for myself), but make sure you play it with ALL the bells and whistles.

To put it lightly, it made my machine work a bit. Half Life 2. When was it released? Yeah, exactly. To be fair, I only saw jittery action when I turned on the flashlight and thus had shadows everywhere.

Hmm, just saw the video for that mod.  It looks beautiful!  Unfortunately you have to have HL2+ep1+ep2 installed.  I only have ep1.  Anyone have an ep2 to gift?

Yeah, I don't have any of the episodes. I'm waiting until episode 3 is released, so I can pick up all 3 and play them one after another.
