Anyone play Stronghold on a regular basis?
Stronghold, Stronghold Crusader, Stronghold 2, Stronghold Legends??
I am a HUGE fan of Stronghold 1 (reg and crusader), and am going to give Stronghold 2 a shot this weekend. I bought it when it came out, but it was so buggy that it was unplayable. I have heard that Patch 1.31 fixed all of those issues and it is now at patch level 1.4
Stronghold Legends sounds cool, but havent gotten it yet.
If anyone plays... maybe we could play a head to head game sometime over the interweb.

I used to be a huge fan of the Lords of the Realm Series. I had the big box set that contained the original and the sequel, and finally the siege pack. That was until it exploded in my cd drive. Then when Lords of the Realm 3 came out I was so excited. Then realized it got rid of everything that made the original series so memorable. Considering you don't even build an army, you have to hire mercenaries for everything.
But my friend got Stronghold and from what I saw it wasn't too bad. It definetly had that medieval feel to it. But I suggest you read this gamespot review on Stronghold Legends. Although I might just pick it up, considering it is extremely cheap now. And if I don't like it, it isn't like I spent alot of money on it. I'll give it a try.

I bought Stronghold 1 when it first came out... I tried some multiplayer with it, but never had much fun with that... I did, on the other hand, have a lot of fun playing the free build. building up and up.. then coating my whole city in pitch... placing one lone archer some ways out on a tower... then setting it ablaze.. WHOOSH!
