I would just like to take a moment and thank congress for destroying The United States! Too long have we been allowed to speak our minds. Too long have we enjoyed freedom of movement. Too long have we enjoyed spending what little of our hard earned money we have been so graciously allowed to keep on things we chose. Now is a time for people who know better than us to control every aspect of our lives! Now is the time to let the distinguished ladies and gentlemen on the hill decide policies on tech they don't understand to keep us in line with their feeble way of thinking. So from the bottom of my heart I wish all those in politics a Happy Holidays and hope you rest well on your piles of ill-gotten gains.

And to those enforcing these policies I hope you get the over time and health benefits you deserve. It will be a tough road a head with all the people you will need to round up. But be sure to tow the line. You are just as expendable as the rest of us.

The CSPAN stream was tragically funny.  Imagine a bunch of clueless old farts, the kind that shouldn't be near a computer.  They were calling each other nerds whole fumbling over terms like server, service, DNS, etc.

Clueless old farts passing a bill on something they clearly do not understand.

Without getting into politics too much you gotta realize that WE vote these numbnutz' into office.

When you vote for the President this year make sure you vote for one who is against SOPA.

It seems like a shameless plug for Ron Paul, but even for an old fart he tends to understand technology very well.  He also does not support SOPA

http://www.techdirt.com/articles/20111115/09233216778/ron-paul-comes-out-against-sopa-joins-other-elected-officials-saying-no-to-great-firewall-america.shtml

And while I could never consider voting for her, Bachmann is also worried about the Protect IP, which pretty much will do the same thing but isnt quite as radical.

Some say thats the plan.  SOPA is so nutz that they will throw it out and just say "well Protect IP isnt so bad".  Make no mistake, they will have the same end result.

In closing, Ron Paul = the man!

I really thought I wanted to blackout FITES as well, but here comes the problem. I don't want to punish our charities. It's a fine line to walk and I believe that if there is a chance that someone will miss out on getting a ticket and forget to come back it's more harmful than helpful. As most of us are in tech fields or tech related fields I don't think it would spread the word to anyone new.

This would take us one step closer to becomming the USSA.
A Serbian Film

What if bodies just had random errors like computers do?
You go to receive your Starbucks coffee and accidentally punch the Barista in the face then Crap on the floor.
What kind of Fudgeing computer errors are you getting?
