 Whoah bro, how many MP is your cam???

My old 3MP cam puts out 600K on average for an image, maxes at like 1.5 megs.

All my quakecon pics were shot with either a nikon D70 or D100 (same sensor, sony 6.1mp) but I shot in its RAW format, so each image is either 5 or 9MB, but this allows me to render the images up to TIFF quality and adjust all the levels and such afterward

Aye. Internet connection sucked, too much to do, not enough time to do it, not enough sleep to write anything but a few babbling sentences.

I would point out in my post (but the whole thing seems to have dissappeared) that I received a press sample of the new Creative SoundBlaster X-Fi card that will have a thorough review of it done for FITES. This card is not yet available and current reviews of it do not exist. FITES will be an early source of information on this card/technology and it won't just be another re-post of a review from elsewhere (i.e., original content).

I've also got more video footage to go through and edit. That stuff takes quite a bit of time.

Not to mention the video of the world premiere/announcement of the SoundBlaster's featuring X-Fi technology that was sent was never posted anywhere that I can tell. I rushed to get that video encoded and uploaded so we could have a scoop and it never happened.

I'm tired. I just got home an hour and a half ago and haven't had a decent night's sleep in over a week, so if anything I said sounded harsh, it wasn't meant to be, I'm just trying to state the facts.
Please just walk away. I don't want to have to stand here and say something so awesome that I'll have to remember it the rest of the day. Thank you!

Sully: I told you I uploaded it. And you said you were going to take care of it.

For those who didn't see it, get it here http://www.fites.net/tekieb/x-fi_launch.wmv

Yes, I e-mailed that it was being uploaded as I wrote. What I meant was that it was not made publicly available/accessible (until just now).

I know I wasn't "press" so maybe I shouldn't intrude, but i have to agree w/ everyone, there is just sooooooooooooooooooooooooo much to do.  Unless you're there, you can't begin to understand what it's like.  People do not sleep because they don't wanna miss anything.  I went 72 hours on 2 hours of sleep and still feel like I spent too much time away from the action.  You make friends that you wanna hang out w/ cuz you only see them once a year and only for a few days, you wanna game, you wanna see the venders, there's just too much to write about to do it justice when written hastily in the corner of a cramped hotel room that smells like ass.  I spent our first day there (Wed.) doing volunteer work from about 10:00am until 5:00am the next morning.  I just hope you guys can understand how difficult it is to maintain any level of sanity and get things done (aside from volunteer work).

Basically what everyone else said is true.  I went into it thinking i was just going to sit down and write a good entry every day.  Once i got there i found that it was hard to even get some good gaming in, let alone write something.  The is just SO much to do there and not near enough time to do all of it.

So, let me try and get my sleep schedule back to normal and i will post a nice juicy writeup for everyone.  I also have a lot of pics that i need to post as well.
