Title: So about that white, powdery stuff....
Post by: vincegun on February 06, 2010, 09:03:30 AM
Normally I could count on about 2 hours to shovel a sufficient portion of the top of my driveway and the incline used to get onto the main road. Now I think it'll take 2 hours just to lower the amount of crap at the top so I can SEE over it. Damn.

We got a nice steady 2 feet here in York. Took me about 2 hours to dig out. I'm pretty lazy though, once I had my wind shield cleaned off, and a path to get the car out, I made myself a danger to everyone and took it up the road the the carwash to clean the snow off lol. I didnt feel like doin it myself.

I guess this means that Global warming has been canceled... either that or John Cusak is gonna roll up in a Limo any minute...

It took me 2 hours and 45 minutes to get home. I actually had to wait to get picked up. I was kinda stuck going up a hill (would've eventually made it up, but a cop told me to turn around.... jackass), ended up almost getting a room at a hotel, but got a ride in a big-ass truck.

My workplace is shutting down at 2:30 today.  I am rather amazed since we do tech support for heaters so this is a busy time for us.

Don't know about PA, but down in MD they pulled the snow plows off the roads in some areas. Conditions are too poor for the trucks to be out in.

Freaking horrible, is what it is. I can dig snow, maybe even enough to make driving adventurous and fun, but not this b.s. that has me wondering when I can get back into town to get my car......
