Snow day idea!
« on: March 05, 2015, 07:05:24 AM »
It's the day before the LAN and you're at home because of the snow, what could you possibly do to be productive with your time?

1. Open Steam
2. Update and/or install all the games you want to play at the LAN
3. ????
4. Profit!

†Profit seen in the form of internet bandwidth and/or time savings at the LAN. Equivalent cache value equal to much geebees.
Please just walk away. I don't want to have to stand here and say something so awesome that I'll have to remember it the rest of the day. Thank you!

I liked Evolve but only in chunks of about an hour at a time.  It can be slow at times when hunting and also a bit frantic when the battle is going down.  For $30, worth it.  $60....wait unless you have coin to burn.

Do you guys still plan on doing an Evolve Tournament?  It was still tentative on the intranet last of all, didn't know if the bugs and odd 4v1 format forced you guys to nix it.  I enjoy the game, buy I agree it probably wasn't worth what i paid for the monster edition.  I expected more looking at what TR did for L4D.  If you enjoy playing monster, or have a party of 3-4 it can be a blast playing evacuation.  Hunt gets old after about an hour especially vs a wraith, but mixing in some nest/defend/rescue is a welcome change.

Well.... I have coin to burn, but not burn just on a whim for a game that I won't play all that often. I'll just dump that coin into a Raspberry Pi 2.
