Sid Meier's Civilization® IV: The Complete Edition is $10 on steam now.  I've never played this game before but it's cheap now so why not.

I have been a fan of the Civ line of games since back in the day (I think it was a Wednesday) when I was rolling on my 486!!.

I haven't been into them as of the past 5-7 years, but I'll be picking this up.

Never got into Civilization much but a game that I used to and sometimes still do play is Master of Magic.  An old old game (used to run it on a 386) it was similar to Civilization except that you added Magic spells into the mix.  I am still waiting for a Master of Magic 2 but I am not holding my breath.

I've played this game once....and that's all it took for me to realize...RTS's are not my game.

I played one of the Civ games before a few years ago. I really don't like turn-based RTS's.
