The IT Crowd

I don't know if any of you have heard of a British comedy called "The IT Crowd", but someone at work pointed out to me that NBC is planning on doing a re-make of the show as a mid-season replacement. So of course, many folks' reactions was to cry out loud at how NBC is going to ruin another perfectly good show by trying to re-invent it for an American audience.

Let me also say that I don't normally care for British humor. I often find it dry and a little too British to make me actually laugh instead of the occasional chuckle.

Anyways, before NBC is allowed to ruin this show and tarnish my impressions of the original, I wanted to check it out. There are only 12 episodes (2 6-episode seasons), but every single one is absolute gold! I was laughing hysterically all night last night as I watched all 12 episodes. At one point, I couldn't breathe because I was laughing so hard!!! This is an absolute must for anyone who has ever worked in IT or any other help desk/support role as you can relate to so many different jokes. I will have it available for your viewing pleasure at the LAN this weekend.

Here's a brief sampling of the show (embedding disabled, so copypasta the links).

Please just walk away. I don't want to have to stand here and say something so awesome that I'll have to remember it the rest of the day. Thank you!
