Hmmm interesting. If this works well, this could be a huge flop!

It seems that when you run it in this mode, You don't have any cloth or liquids. That brings me to another question I have about it that NEVER came up in the [H]Forums. How could you off load the boxes Physics to the card when the main engine needs to keep perfect track of them for Multiplayer. If the seeding factor was different going into the card for each person I could possible see the box smashing another player while it just sails by them. Now I in NO WAY. Develope games let alone multiplayer ones, but with working with Hammer to make levels for CS:S the physics for multiplayer are different.

I read somewhere that the extra stuff that the PhysX card adds is only enabled in single-player. Multiplayer it is turned off for those reasons you mention.

Cool, if you ever come by it again I would love to read it. But I find it amazing that no one in 7 pages of forums posts over there had ever mentioned it.

I also just found instructions to get it to run on x64 systems. I was more than slightly suprised that Cellfactor gave me an error msg telling me I must be running on Windows XP 32-bit to even install the game.

edit: Yep, game runs fine. Seems as if Aegia goofed. I was planning on cheerleading for aegia over havok, but now, from what I'm seeing, it's questionable.

Personally I don't think the goofed per-say. I think they wanted people to have the card so that they can see the little bits of eye-candy that make the "difference."
