Title: RTS Games

This thread doesn't really have much to do with the LAN,

Does anyone here play RTS games other than SC II (sadly I don't have it)? The two ones that I play right now are Company Of Heroes with the Blitzkrieg mod(which I love),Supreme Commander Forged Alliance (despite me being horrible at it), and Supreme Commander 2 but very rarely.

As a side note
Total Annihilation which I occasionally play makes a great netbook game.

I loved playing the first and 2nd Age of Empires games.  Didnt really get into AOE Online.

I love the Total War series before Medieval.  After Rome the AI became complete morons.  I never played it multiplayer but would love to.  I'd probably get my ass kicked.

I havent really played RTS in years.

I never played any of the AOE games, so I can't say much about em.

I've been playing Empire like crazy with the Darthmod before I got Fallout New Vegas, and like Napoleon for it's good  battles.

I have yet to get Shogun 2. 

As for Medieval 2s AI sucking it is totally true, it is sometimes worse than suicidal for the sieges and the siege towers catch fire way too easily. Back to the AI sucking in Medieval 2, I installed a dev mod which supposedly improves the AI, but quit Medieval 2 alltogether once I played a battle where an entire army was just walking into the wall of my castle. The AI still isn't very good in Empire but considerably better than in Medieval 2.

Also me being a  history buff is one of the reasons I like the Total War games, and Medieval 2 is the least historically accurate of all the Total War games.

I have over 100 hours playing Napolean (besides it being buggy, I love it) and I bought a "total war" pack on steam at christmas which has Rome, Empire, medival2, and alexander for like 16 bucks.  I haven't touched any of those yet though cause I keep trying to beat the European campaign on Napolean which is so tough and lasts forever.  I've restarted it 3 times now after getting nowhere. LOL  If anyone is down, I'd like to play multplayer against someone, but I'm scared I'll get creamed, but if you guys suck too, maybe I'll try it.

I also got Shogun 2 but haven't tried that yet either.  I feel like I may never get to these games haha. 

Is Supreme commander worth buying?  I always here people talking about it.

Also, anyone play Starcraft 2?  I had the first one back in the day.

I play nearly any RTS
See me at the lan so we can start some games up.
Supreme commander  is worth playing for a different type of RTS
