Hey dudes,

How is everyone doing?  I just wanted to share that we started playing RIFT.  Personally, I haven't touched a MMO since 2007, but I admit, its nice to casually play one again and RIFT offers some pretty interesting dynamic content... check out our guild page and I threw up a thread with more goodies.  Oh, they also have a 7-day FREE TRIAL so if you do end up trying it out, I would appreciate if you use the link on our guild page as it will go toward our "Ascend-a-Friend" thingie.

I played the beta, pre-ordered it, and after reaching max level within 2 weeks, got extremely bored with it. level 1-20 were awesome and lots of fun, but the pvp got stale fast and the pve end game required WAY more grinding than I was prepared to devote time into. So, I eventually regretted buying it at all. =/

thanks for the heads up man, we're having a blast as a group in the early game, chatting on vent, etc. -- did you have a group / guild to play with toward the end game?

Yeah had a guild of ~25. Grouped through it all, including pvp. Got to the raids, the rift raids were alright, but when we tried to do the raid instance, we got slaughtered. Found out you had to grind the Crap out of the rift raids for raid gear, and that got old very fast. Took way too much time that I didn't have.
