Well I just got my job back at Toys R Us in Camp Hill. And I am going to save my money to buy a new car. Now I know this isn't a car forum, but I thought I would give it a shot. For one thing this car is got to be a manual, I haven't found any domestic cars that I like in a 5spd. So I am moving towards a Import, I am not looking for a new car, used is the way to go here. I would kill for a CRX or a Mitsubishi VR4, but those are getting hard to find.

I want to go Import because imports last somewhat longer then domestics. Granted they both have the same issues, but imports just don't have those nasty occurrences that crop up every once in awhile. (i.e. timing belts, head gaskets)

Any suggestions would be great. I am just going to save my money either to buy another car or build a new pc. I just got tot let this pan out.

Honda Civc SI (GL find one though that hasn't been beat the hell out of and modded to look like Crap)...2000 SI's are going for around 7-8K and they last forever. Saturns are reliable and cheap however from listing about a VR4, you must be a lil power hungry.

the vr4 is a good car and as for the crx id tell u to just get a civic itll be newer and wont cost and arm and leg to get fixed.  Ive seen many crx and all seem to be neglected since they are older cars and then u get into cost of repairs since they dont make the parts ne more and you need to get em imported.  I had this problem with my 626, all the replacement parts had to be imported.

I like the civic and all, I am just not happy with the way the changed them yet again. I am trying to get an AWD car, mainly of the winter weather. So RWD wouldn't be great here, the back end would kick around to much. FWD is great for winter season, I found a 300zx in harrisburg for 3k, I had to ask the guy why he was selling it so cheap. After all it was the twin turbo version and a targa top.

It was probably a scam.  Ask to see the car in person and pay in person and test drive etc.  You probably won't hear from him again.  Remember that Supra you told me about??

yea im with u im hard core jdm.  I havent seen a jdm car i wouldnt prefer over usdm.  So when you get ur car are you goin to do a jdm conversion obviously depends on the car u get but will u if you can.

Used WRX, they do keep value so you'll have to save your money.  You can get a imprezza for less, and the fact it has no turbo will save you huge money when you insure the thing.

I want an AWD car most definetly, I would settle for FWD. I want a 5spd, because automatics are just disappointing to me. I might look into an old school WRX, those you don't see at all anymore.

Naw I didn't mean it that way. I was just saying that RWD cars in general are usually not good for winter. Everyone knows that Civics are FWD.
