I usually don't read video card reviews but since it's coming closer and closer to dx10. I think it would be a great time to invest in a new video card (6800 nvidia current) but sometimes just one review isn't enough. So if you guys/gals have any input on who you think is pulling ahead or is ahead of the video card industry please do tell me.

everything I've read says the ATI R600 is going to be faster then the Nvidia 8800gtx.  but the nvidia card is going to be released by 11/07 and ATI wont have a part in retail till january at the earliest...

I’d defiantly go with the 8800gtx!
check out the official benchmarks leaked from nvidia!
