Hmm. I dunno. Some were interesting. Others.. kinda lame.

C`mon. I`ll be happy to assist someone interested in doing a case mod using an arduino for lighting coolness :)

I know I may get some flack on this but it is my opinion.  WATER COOLING YOUR PC IS NOT A CASE MOD!!!!  Yes I know it takes lots of time and work, but it is part of building a water cooled PC.  Ok, rant is over.  Go back to your regularly scheduled thread.
Never, but never question the engineers judgement.

Once you have seen one Lego case you have seen them all. And former President Carter's is much better.

Hey, can you post some pics of the inside?  I'd like to see how you squeezed all that in that tiny little 'head'.

I have a feeling this photoset is not very representative of all of the case mod entrants. The two years I went to QC I saw several more (and better) case mods than what they have shown here. In other words, most were on par or better than the Halo helmet. Some that come to mind were the newspaper dispenser, the nVidia chair, the sculpted Hellraiser case, the mini-arcade cabinet (some full ones too), and of course who could forget the child's coffin? That one was creepy....

I found another site with some case mod pics here. There's a high-res pic of the Master Chief helmet there that shows a little bit of the inside, since you were curious. Just a warning though, the site will bitch at you if you have ad-blocking software turned on, so you will have to disable it to view the site fully.

Please just walk away. I don't want to have to stand here and say something so awesome that I'll have to remember it the rest of the day. Thank you!
