Q4 Problem

Hey I was wondering if any of you have the same problems as me. When I start up Q4 and go to run Q4Max it starts to load but then an error comes up. After that exits out the whole screen is insanely bright.

You wouldn't happen to be running a Linux client would you? I just saw tonight there is a q4max 0.76a that applies to Linux clients/servers. If it's Windows, then nevermind, that patch only applies to Linux.

Make sure you have Point release 1.3 for Quake 4.

Otherwise that'll happen.

Also make sure the q4max folder is in the 'quake 4' directory and NOT in 'q4base'
